Your privacy is the whole point of how ZephyCube | PDF is built. This policy explains what happens to your files and data.

Files processed in your browser

Most tools — merging, splitting, rotating, watermarking, adding page numbers, images to PDF, PDF to images, signing, editing, redacting, comparing, organizing, and OCR — run completely inside your browser using client-side code. Your files are never uploaded for these tools. When you close the tab, they're gone.

Files processed on the server

A small number of tools need software that can only run on a server: compression, the Office conversions (Word/PowerPoint/Excel to and from PDF), and password protection or removal. For these tools only, your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed, returned to you, and then deleted automatically (within one hour at the latest, and typically immediately). We do not read, copy, or retain the contents of these files.

What we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. Standard server logs may record your IP address and browser type for security and troubleshooting. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising profiles.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we intentionally hold almost none, there's usually nothing to delete — but you can always reach us at [email protected].
